A day by day summary of our time in Tokyo both on our own and as part of the National Children’s Choir (NCC) program.

Our last day in Tokyo finds us running around to squeeze in a final couple highlights including Shibuya crossing which is the busiest intersection in the world.

Today John continues his fearless navigation of Tokyo’s transportation system as we visit the Ramen Cup Noodle Museum and Cosmoland with the 2nd largest Ferris Wheel in the world.

Today is jammed pack with Tokyo experiences, shrines, temples, stores and a truly authentic Japanese experience at a traditional Japanese hotel and local Japanese restaurant.

With the NCC program finished, we are on our own again. John, our intrepid tour guide, has planned out our next 4 days in Tokyo. After moving into an Air BnB, the highlight of the day is the Robot restaurant and show.

Today is the last day of the National Children’s Choir (NCC) program and John’s final performance at the Blue Rose Hall of Suntory Hall. We also visit another Shinto shrine and the Imperial Palace.

NCC has arranged for a boat ride and tour of a musical forest both of which are supposed to have stunning views of Mount Fuji. After getting stunning views of rain, clouds and fog, we’re left wondering if Mount Fuji actually exists.
