A travel booking mistakes puts us in Auckland at 5:30am we decide to stay and explore Auckland before we fly out tonight.

We drive down to Rototuri to visit a sustainable geothermal village of there Whaka people (descendants of the Maauris), eat a meal cooked on the geothermal hot springs and visit the Zealand Tea Estate.

We venture to Waitomo to go spelunking in the Rotouri caves, learn the not no nice story behind the glowworms, risk life and limb black water rafting and spot the national bird of New Zealand, the kiwi.

The adventures in New Zealand continue as we figure out how to get fishing gear, see classic cars, wreck a few cards, squeeze in a museum and go to an Irish pub on what is definitely not family night.

Our outdoor adventures carry over from Australia to New Zealand as we visit the Hamilton Gardens and Hamilton Zoo.

The clan travels to New Zealand experiencing some airport hiccups (which we are used to by now) and arrives at GOT like Castle Global Teens on the River Run.
