Korea was fabulous! Four nights and four days of fun, singing and all you can eat Korean food.

Today we travel with the National Children’s Choir from Seoul to Osaka, Japan. Despite my best efforts at ensuring travel logistics advanced planning, the travel check-in does not smoothly and almost turns disastrous.

Today is our trip to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). We are all super excited until John’s bus (with the singers) runs afoul of the Korean authorities. Will we ever see him again?

Some days you just have to take it easy. Today was one of those days. It started for me with a sumptuous buffet lunch, then shopping, then nap, then John’s choral performance at Mapo Art Center finishing with a quick dinner and more shopping. Let me not forget the yes, emergency vanilla latte stop in there too.

National Children's Choir (NCC) has organized the next 2 weeks so we get to take a break from the day to day trip planning. Today we visit the Royal Palace and a local Korean marketplace. Wait,Royal Palace? I thought the whole Royal Family thing was a British phenomenon but apparently not.

The leg from Dublin to Seoul is one of the hardest we will have on the trip so we are pleased we made it through with a only a delay in Frankfort. However; trying to communicate to the taxi driver where we want to go is whole other matter.
