We take a bus trip to Bosnia & Herzegovina and experience a city destroyed by war and while mostly rebuilt, still struggles to overcome the long-term impact of the war 25 years later.

The city of Dubrovnik has it all - submerged Roman walls, city walls, Game of Thrones, history, cliff jumping and romance.

After a long drive from Split, we arrive just in time for Leanne and I to make the GOT tour of the Kings Landing scenes in Dubrovnik but our guide is not so thrilled with his tour groups performance.

The family takes a boat trip to the islands off Split that include jumping from the top of the boat and relaxing in the sun.

The clan explores the Diocletian Palace in Split, swim in the Adriatic Sea and Kyle and Leanne once again split from the kids for a date night John has planned.

Part of the group takes a morning hike around Plitvice Lakes and the group drives to Split. The corny Split jokes start flowing and Kyle & Leanne split from the kids to go to the GOT Museum.

We spent the entire day exploring Plitvice Lakes National Park and aren’t disappointed with the some the most amazing natural beauty we’ve ever seen.

We wrap up our short 24 hour stay in Zagreb and drive down to UNESCO site Plitvice Lakes National Park which is an interlocking system of 12 lakes and 400 waterfalls.

After nearly missing our connecting flight, we arrive in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia to find a city different from the other capital cities we’ve visited.
